Jeanne Baret FW 26/27: between nature, performance, and new elegance

18 September 2026

Nature, movement, exploration. It is from here that the new Jeanne Baret FW 26/27 collection takes shape, a wardrobe designed for a contemporary, curious, and independent woman, capable of moving naturally between urban and outdoor dimensions. The brand is named after Jeanne Baret, a French explorer and botanist remembered as the first woman to circumnavigate the globe. A pioneering figure, animated by curiosity and courage, who still today becomes the starting point for a functional, conscious, and deeply feminine vision of fashion. Her legacy translates into garments designed to accompany movement, travel, and everyday life without sacrificing elegance. A philosophy that in FW 26/27 finds a new interpretation, through refined materials, technical details, and essential silhouettes.

A new idea of outdoor

The collection arises from the meeting between performance and sophistication, two dimensions that Jeanne Baret brings together in balance. Inspiration comes from nature in its most authentic form: wooded landscapes, wet lands, rocks, mineral surfaces, and autumnal light. From this imagery emerges a sophisticated and material palette, while the construction of the garments looks to the concrete needs of a life in motion. Outerwear is the heart of the season. The new 3L with a woolen hand combines technical membranes and soft surfaces, transforming weather protection into a stylish element. The velvety fleece with membrane instead brings a cozier dimension, perfect for moments of relaxation and après-ski. These are accompanied by fabrics with a cotton-like appearance that hide a technical structure, softshell with more contemporary lines, and ultralight and compressible emergency warm jackets, designed for travel and for building dynamic layering. However, functionality is not limited to the most performing garments. The technical flannel preserves the traditional character of the fabric adding an easy-care management; the mid layers introduce soft and enveloping textures, while the knitwear experiments with the meeting between yarns and technical nylon inserts.   Even casual wear takes on a new sophistication: premium bouclé wool and double Milano stitch sweatshirts reinterpret comfort through clean volumes and an urban attitude. The result is a transversal wardrobe, built for layering and different combinations, capable of following the day seamlessly: from the city to the mountains, from travel to everyday life.

Color as landscape

In FW 26/27, color becomes another way to tell the relationship between fashion and nature. Three color families define the season’s identity, alternating neutral tones, mineral depths, and warm accents.

Soft Naturals

Sand, ivory, and ebony create an essential and sophisticated palette. These are colors that recall natural materials, soft surfaces, and the tranquility of intimate spaces. Here elegance is expressed without ostentation, through light textures, soft volumes, and feminine details. It is the most minimal dimension of the collection, where comfort becomes a gesture of daily style.

Mineral Shades

The landscape becomes more intense with mineral gray, black, lavender, and violet. A combination inspired by the strength of the earth and rocks, where material plays a central role. Matte surfaces and brighter reflections meet on technical fabrics, creating a sophisticated contrast. It is a more decisive palette, designed for a dynamic woman who interprets functionality through a contemporary language.

Green & Rust Harmony

Finally, moss green and rust evoke the colors of forests and autumnal landscapes. It is the warmest palette of the collection, built on the meeting between deep and earthy tones. The result is an organic balance that engages in a dialogue between city and nature, performance and comfort, rigor and femininity.

Designed to move

Jeanne Baret’s FW 26/27 ultimately tells a fashion story that does not ask to choose between aesthetics and functionality. Every element is designed to accompany a woman in motion: through different contexts, temperatures, destinations, and moments. Technical materials meet sophisticated textures, functional design dialogues with feminine details, and outdoor inspiration is translated into an urban and contemporary wardrobe. A collection that looks at nature not only as a source of inspiration but as a way of understanding movement: free, conscious, essential.
