Piquadro x Audi Revolut F1 Team: when performance becomes style

4 September 2026

In the spotlight, from left to right: Mattia Binotto (CEO and team principal of Audi Revolut F1 Team), Nico Hülkenberg (driver of Audi Revolut F1 Team), Marco Palmieri (president and CEO of Piquadro Group), Gabriel Bortoleto (driver of Audi Revolut F1 Team), Allan McNish (racing director of Audi Revolut F1 Team).

In Formula 1, speed is only the most visible part of performance. Behind a few seconds on the track there is preparation, precision, technology, obsession for details, and a constant ability to push a little further. It is on this idea of performance that the relationship between Piquadro and Audi Revolut F1 Team is born and consolidated. The Italian leather goods and travel brand enters the 2026 season as the Official Luxury Luggage Partner of the Team and, after the announcement of the collaboration last January, today expands the project with a first official licensed collection. A natural progression: from the track to travel, from the paddock to everyday life. Because if there is one element that unites the world of Formula 1 with that of Piquadro, it is movement.

Formula 1 as a laboratory of innovation

A Formula 1 season means crossing continents, airports, circuits, and hotels. It means moving people and equipment with almost surgical precision, respecting tight deadlines, and facing a logistics that does not allow many second chances. This is where the partnership takes on a concrete dimension. Piquadro accompanies Audi Revolut F1 Team during the season with luggage and travel solutions designed for frequent and intense use. Not just a logo on a product, therefore, but a relationship that becomes part of the team’s daily life. And in this sense, travel becomes almost a natural extension of the circuit: another terrain where lightness, resistance, organization, and reliability make the difference.

“Considering the intensity of the travels we face during a season, being able to rely on a partner who understands the needs related to frequent trips is an important support for us.” – Allan McNish, racing director of Audi Revolut F1 Team.

From the paddock to the city

The real novelty, however, is the consumer collection. Luggage, backpacks, and accessories for travel and business bring the identity of Audi Revolut F1 Team into the design language of Piquadro. The result does not simply seek to graphically translate the world of racing, but to transform some codes into objects designed to be used every day. Evolved materials, lightness, protection, and intelligent organization of spaces thus become the meeting point between two worlds. On one side there is Formula 1, with its immediately recognizable aesthetics and its culture of performance. On the other hand, Piquadro, which has always worked on the relationship between technology, design, and functionality. It is an interesting balance because it avoids the traditional “merchandising” effect. The collection is born with a precise product identity and brings the world of the Team out of the circuit, turning it into something that can enter the routine of those who travel, work, and move continuously.

Luxury today is also functional

Perhaps this is the most interesting aspect of the operation. In contemporary travel, luxury does not necessarily come from excess. More and more often it coincides with what makes an object simply better to use: reduced weight, well-organized space, detailed protection, a material capable of withstanding time and travel. Performance thus becomes a form of comfort. And Piquadro interprets this idea through a collection that tries to bring together the adrenaline-filled imagery of Formula 1 and a much more everyday conception of travel.

“With Audi Revolut F1 Team, we share a precise vision: innovating means continuing to push the limit of performance forward.” – Marco Palmieri, president and CEO of Piquadro.

A sentence that summarizes well the sense of collaboration: not stopping at the result, but considering innovation as a continuous process.

A partnership that goes beyond the track

The collection will be distributed internationally through Piquadro boutiques, the brand’s e-commerce, and a selection of wholesale partners, in addition to the official channels of Audi Revolut F1 Team. This is where the partnership changes scale. The Piquadro audience meets the international Formula 1 community and vice versa. An intersection between fashion, travel, sport, and lifestyle that also reflects the moment that Formula 1 is experiencing, increasingly capable of breaking out of the confines of sport to become a global cultural and commercial platform. Audi Revolut F1 Team enters this scenario with a still young identity, but already strongly oriented towards technology and innovation. Piquadro, for its part, brings to the project a know-how built around contemporary mobility. The result is a partnership that does not only live on race weekends. It lives in airports, waiting rooms, offices, trains, and cities. In all those places where traveling means not only bringing what is needed, but also a certain way of moving.

Speed is not enough

Ultimately, this is the strongest meeting point between Piquadro and Formula 1. Speed can be spectacular, but behind every performance there are method and design. The difference often lies in the details that are not seen. A suitcase does not race on a track. A backpack does not enter a curve at 300 kilometers per hour. Yet both can be designed with the same mentality: eliminate what is not needed, improve what works, and continuously seek a smarter way of doing things. This is the direction of the new Piquadro x Audi Revolut F1 Team collection. Bringing performance out of the track and turning it into a lifestyle.
